Another review from the past:

What I liked:

the story was fast paced and flowed beautifully-this felt much more natural than the first book by the author

the concept was pretty interesting & kept me engrossed

the indiscriminate hate that the Decider had for everybody-he didn’t need a reason, he just hated.

What I didn’t like:

the multiple POVs were fine but at the end of each such POV, the author hammered the upcoming events into the reader-delicate foreshadowing, I’m all for it but this wasn’t it.

after reaching the last quarter of the book, the POVs suddenly began with a quote or an excerpt from some book-that might have worked, if the author had done this from the very start.

Steady storyline & an interesting MC–if Joe can be called that-you might want to try out this YA novel.

I loved this one but I read it a long time ago and sadly, that’s all that I remember about the book!

Here’s my mini-review from way back when:

What I liked:

the whole concept-I guess, I’m not a Zombie purist & I loved every bit of it

the gruesome descriptions-an added benefit while reading from a rotter’s POV.

What I didn’t like:

the whole jumbled up part that probably was in Jessie’s mind about Death & extinction etc-the ending was to my liking but the path leading to it, I mostly skimmed.

Give this book a try if you’re looking for an original take on Zombies — beware of ickiness!

This would be a fun book to read, if you can let go any expectations about there being a plot. A whole lot of randomness but I liked it!
